4 cyl.-v8 swap help
I'm gonna be converting an 87 4cyl mustang to a 5.0 and I was just wondering if the rear diff. needs to b changed aswell cuz I wasnt sure if the four bangers came with the 7.5 or the 8.8
thanks  |
ill sell you a 88 original 5.0 LX ??

the rear end is a small 7.5 or 7" or whatever and probably not limited slip, it will work, but may or may not break depending on how you use the car. you want an 8.8 out of a 5.0 liter model. I think the earlier 5.0's (pre 87) had small 7.x rears so you probably dont want one of those either. If I am wrong on something, someone correct me.
I have a 5 lug 8.8" rear axle from a 94-95 5.0 mustang that I was looking to sell that will work and let you run 5 lug wheels instead of the 4 lug parts. I have the matching 5 lug front parts you would need as well. |

4 cyl v8 swap help
any one know how to do a compression test on an old diesel such as 6.2 l 1987 suburban, if the glo plugs and injectors DONT go directly into the cyl.?

4 cyl v8 swap help
they go into a "pre chamber" which is connected to the actual cyl... so pop a glow plug out... if it will come...haha and throw a gauge in there
