Exclamation CARBURETOR HELP

Ok so i picked up two carbs. 1 holley 850 DP, and another holley (modified) supposably a 4150 that rated at 1050 cfm. Yes i know the biggest is 1000 cfm from holley in the 4150 series, however the guy that built the carb stated the 1050 had all this custom shit like annular boosters, some shit about venturis, bigger main body, and etc.

So anyways off the bat I figured the 850 should work great, but then after doing some research it seems the 1050 w/ annular boosters might just work too due to better atomization of the annular boosters, and I can always Jet it down. Either way once I make up my mind i'll be selling the other.

So my question is what would you recommend I run? Please don't post shit if you never ran a damn carb'd car- Thanks!

I will post some of my cougar's stat's so you can get a better idea of what it's going on soon.

Real quick-
its SBF 408
12.5:1 CR
.673 lift (in) cam on a 108.62 lobe seperation (If you need full info on cam lmk)
Canfield 195 heads.
Redneck built C4 w/ a 4500 stall
9" rear w/ 4:10's
Tire- Haven't decided yet, but between a 26-28" Drag Radial.

Rought weight should be around 2800 - 3000lbs w/ me in it.

850 wouldn't be enough IMO... I'd try & work with the "1050" but do a little more reasearch on it before bolting it on... what's the list # on the main body, diameter of the "butterflys" in the baseplate (should be stamped on them)...
